WHAT DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS CAN I USE?

WHAT ABOUT SOME PLANS THAT ADVERTISE LITTLE OR NO MONTHLY PREMIUM?
|
- Called "Medicare Advantage" plans, they trade monthly premium for co-pays and cost sharing at time of claim. Instead of a fixed monthly premium for a plan that pays (virtually) all claims, you will face hundreds of dollars for outpatient services, and thousands of dollars for a hospitalization under a plan with no premium. The maximum exposure on these plans is far greater than the annual premium under a traditional plan. No premium plans may also come with a limited network of doctors/ hospitals. For these reasons, in most circumstances, we do not recommend these no-premium plans.

WHAT ABOUT LONG TERM CARE?
