It's true! Ninety percent of all businesses in Wisconsin have fewer than 50 employees and - despite what others may say - their healthcare costs are lower, on average, than "big" business.

For 25 years Jon Rauser has been a vocal healthcare advocate for this small to medium-sized business constituency. Jon is president of The Rauser Agency, Inc which serves as an independent broker of group health insurance plans and other employee benefits.
Healthcare notables (clockwise):
Harvard Professor Regina Herzlinger with Milwaukee Cardiologist Bruce Wilson;
State Rep. Leah Vukmir, Chairwoman of the Assembly Committee on Health;
Former Secretary of HHS Tommy Thompson.
Because of his knowledgeable and creative understanding of healthcare costs and coverage, Jon is frequently asked by the media to serve as a quotable resource for health insurance features and articles. (For example, he has appeared on the NBC Evening News with Tom Brokaw.) His day-to-day direct interaction with employers and groups of employees gives him practical insights sought out by policymakers and enables him to speak knowledgably at healthcare forums and business groups.

Jon is an active member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) serving on the "Blue Print for Prosperity" Health Care Committee. He served as the 2006 President of the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters, the largest professional organization of benefits specialists in the state. Jon is also on the Advisory Boards of these organizations:
